Back in KL

If you've been following our moblog, we'd like you to know that we're back in KL now.

Praveen stopped updating ever since we reached Krabi airport. He's been sulking ever since he got up this morning, reluctant to end the vacation.

In fact, we're all wishing we stayed a little longer.

I had a fantastic time.
I want so badly to rewind and replay the four days all over again *sigh*

After Dairy Queen at Krabi Airport

I'm walking along the Ao Nang main road, alone :) mel's gone for a foot massage, and the rest are doing their own thing. The road stretches for a few kilometres, with lots of shops and restaurants. I'm now taking shelter outside a McDonald's. It's raining :(

Dinner in Ao Nang

Having dinner at NaNa restaurant in Ao Nang. Nothing fantastic, but we we were hungry. Tourist prices. 20baht for steamed rice! But we finally had our minced meat salad (larb)

We're taking the 10:30 ferry to Krabi, 350baht. This time we're all wearing a sticker badge on our tees that says "Joint Ticket". That's island speak for "tourists", ha ha. Next stop: Ao Nang.

Fire dance tonight

Watching a white chick do the fire dance near the pier. Waiting for a Singha beer, 90baht. Oh, and this just after a foot massage, 350baht.

We were out the whole afternoon, snorkelling around the island. 450baht per person, 5 hours. But our guide couldn't speak a word of English, so it ended up being just that- snorkelling. I think I'm sun-burned.

The Skybus from Sentral. 9 bucks one way, 1 hour trip, always on time. Eat that Air Asia!

Team Krabi off to a dramatic start

I was supposed to have picked Mel and Aunty A from SS2 at 8:30, then we were to take the SkyBus from Sentral by 9:30 along with Uncle P, for a flight at 12 noon. We had it all planned.

That was until I woke up - LATE! Like 9am LATE!

7 missed calls, a screaming household, the boys trying to calm the girls down and here I am now: alone on the bus to LCCT. I made it on time for the 9:30 bus. The rest are taking a taxi there. And I'm sure they don't have nice things to say about me, ha ha!

Nothing like a bit of drama to kick start a holiday. It's almost like the Amazing Race, minus the million dollar cash prize and fame.
